Home Tanning Kits
Airbrush systems are probably the most expensive of the home tanning solutions but they are quick and once you have the airbrush tool you will only need to purchase refill tanning solution. The airbrush tool for this application can be used with its own compressor, which will come with the kit. Compressors are priced between one hundred and twenty and two hundred and eighty dollars, the most expensive ones actually being for the salon rather than for home use.
Airbrush tanning systems for home tanning kits come with different sized compressors, different sprayer sizes, hoses and tan solution in different formulations. Shopping around you can find money saving 4 ounce sizes of tan solution, tan booster for adding to your regular solution to deepen the resulting shade of your tan and large money saving containers such as quart or gallon sizes available for purchase separately. When using one of the kits you might like a tanning tent which can be purchased separately, if not in the particular kit you have chosen. Tanning tents cost from sixty to seventy five dollars and usually include bonus accessories. Always exfoliate the skin before you apply the tanning solution, always avoid wearing make-up and deodorant until after your tan has been applied and allowed to set a half hour or so and avoid Lycra, nylon, wool or spandex through the duration of your tan or for the first several hours, say six or ten hours. These fibers might become stained and these stains might not wash out readily. Cottons and cotton blends wash easily and do not tend to hang on to any tanning
